Do You Offer Gift Cards?
At the moment, we do not offer gift cards for purchase. We're only able to accept payment via major credit card carriers (American Express, Visa, Mastercard) or PayPal. Our website team is working diligently to get gift cards up and running, but for now they're not part of our offerings.
Are Your Products Pet Safe?
General Warning: It is important to understand that none of our floral arrangements are considered safe for pets. While we strive for beauty and quality in our bouquets, we prioritize safety first.
Floral Safety Advisory: Toxicity Concerns: Many bouquets include potentially toxic stems like Lilies, Delphinium, and Hypericum Berries. The risk to pets is significant. Chemical Treatments: All our bouquets undergo treatment with pesticides and fertilizers, which are not safe for consumption. These treatments make even non-toxic flowers potentially harmful. Precautionary Measures: Always keep fresh cut flowers and dried bouquets out of reach of pets and children. While they enhance the aesthetics of a space, they pose a risk if ingested. Plant Safety Advisory: Pet Safety Information: Each plant product comes with specific information regarding pet safety. Please refer to these notices for guidance. Universal Best Practice: Regardless of the plant type, it's advisable to keep all houseplants away from pets and small children. This precaution helps prevent any accidental ingestion, which could be harmful.
How Do the Bouquets Look On Delivery? How Do the Flowers Arrive?
Our bouquets are delivered including all of the stems pictured, though you should bear in mind that the photos on our site are slightly more styled. Usually with a minute or two of zhuzhing, your bouquet will look gorgeous and full. Occasionally differences in the levels of sunshine and rainfall on our farms will lead to variations in color. Also, we do reserve the right to substitute stems with a comparable look and feel within our bouquets.
When Is My Favorite Flower in Season? (Peonies, Tulips, and More)
All flower types are subject to seasonality (meaning specific times of year when they're produced at high volumes and we're able to source them for you. Here's a rough sketch of when some of your favorite stems are in their growing season.
Peonies - Typically Late Spring (Around May) through early summer (Late June or July). Some of our incredible farmers in other climates do produce peonies at other times of year, though, so you may see them pop up on our site in other seasons. We know how beloved these stems are, so if we have them in stock we'll notify you via our marketing email or SMS channels. We have tips for working with fresh cut peonies here.
Tulips - Tulips usually run from Late Fall into late Winter. Our insider tip for hyacinth, tulips, and other bulb flower is: if you see them growing in the ground outside, they're usually not available for florists any longer.
Ranunculus - Fall through Early Spring (typically September through February or so).
Hydrangea - Late Spring through Summer, though transparently we don't use hydrangea particularly often because it's a very delicate stem. More info on working with fresh cut hydrangea can be found here.
Lilies - Lilies are typically available year round, though we try to rotate the types of lilies we offer to keep things interesting for you.
Roses - Roses are available year round! You will always find bouquets that include roses in our assortment. You can find tips for handling fresh cut roses here.
Like any natural product, flowers have variations in their growing cycles and sometimes they defy our expectations in terms of availability! But no matter what the season is, we're always working to bring you the freshest and most beautiful flowers available.
